Our Story
After experiencing homelessness himself, Officer Rick Zoerb was determined not to let people in similar situations be forgotten or left struggling. He created the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Community Emergency Needs Fund to allow other officers to help those they find in need while on duty.
Our Goal
To build relationships as we protect and serve the most vulnerable members of our community and to help meet their most immediate needs.
